Welcome to AviTree.com! The word "Avitree" is the combination of Avi, which is Italian for ancestors, and tree, which stands for family tree. The site has been created to host surnames of Italian immigrants. Some last names are found throughout the peninsula, some are found only in specific regions. There are thousands of little towns in Italy and the region, province and town links have been added to help connect the surnames to their place of origin.
